Challenges often bring us new opportunities—opportunities to grow through flexibility and creativity and making new connections through partnerships that provide mutual strengthening and support.

The ABHMS Center for Continuous Learning (CCL) was formed in a season of pandemic in 2020–21, which created an opportunity to develop a Learning Management System for online learning. As we found our footing with both in-person learning experiences and virtual course offerings in 2021–22, another challenge struck.

Our still-new CCL website crashed, forcing us to be nimble in adapting our in-process online cohorts. We were successful in sustaining the relationships and the learning throughout the spring—and in the meantime, our ABHMS technology advisors and consulting experts have helped us seize the challenge as a new opportunity.

In August 2023, the CCL will be launching a new and improved website, build through a tried and tested LMS platform that is powerful, adaptable, and uniquely branded for our mission. As part of the redesign process, we are integrating input from you as it relates to accessibility, content, and user interface.

The new website will restore and improve access to existing on-demand learning experiences, including user favorites such as the Let’s Talk about Mental Health series and our popular Faithful Finance offerings. And we also want to hear from you about future topics, formats, and learning opportunities that will meet your needs in ministry today.
