During this webinar, we will meet the four founders of Green the Church and learn more about the Three Pillars of their work:
- Amplifying Green Theology
- Promoting Sustainable Practices
- Building Power for Political and Economic Change.
You will learn the history of how these graduates of Morehouse School of Religion and the Interdenominational Theological Center formed "Carroll Ministries International" in 1997, subsequently creating a national organization focused on creation care for people of faith in general and for the black church in particular. You will also discover about how you can become a part of this critical work in this urgent juncture in our nation's history.

- Rev. Benjamin Carroll, M.Div., Senior Pastor of the Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in West Palm Beach, Florida
- Rev. Bruce C. Carroll, Sr., M.Div., Associate Minister at Lindsey Street Baptist church in Atlanta, Georgia
- Rev. Emily Carroll, M.Div., Senior Pastor of the St. James UMC in Shreveport, LA, and Protestant Religious Education Coordinator for the Barksdale Air Force Base Chapel.

Green The Church is a sustainability initiative designed to tap into the power and purpose of the Black Church Community and expand the role of churches as centers for environmental and economic resilience. As The Environmental Organization of the Black Church, we strive to teach faith communities, environmental organizations, and individual practitioners how to work in concert in order to “Green” The Black Church. Green The Church was created and developed by Carroll Ministries International.
