Freedom School is off to a wonderful start at Cameron Community Ministries! We've had several fantastic read aloud guests from the community, including a state senator, entrepreneurs, educators, and more. Last week, the kids enjoyed a field trip to the beach! Next week, we are looking forward to the National Day of Social Action on 7/21, when the scholars will be leading a Peace Walk down Cameron Street, advocating for an end to violence in our neighborhoods.
