Salama Urban Ministries is a holistic youth development program committed to providing young people opportunities to succeed, to explore, and to have experiences they otherwise might not have. We do that through after-school programming and a summer camp program, both focused on academic enrichment, performing and visual arts, and spiritual development. We provide transportation to our facility, a well-balanced meal for all students, individualized tutoring for high-need students, homework help, and instruction in reading, math, and a variety of arts. STEAM activities are also an important part of Salama's program offerings, allowing students to participate in a variety of science, technology, engineering activities, in addition to our usual arts and math activities. We look forward to having our young people explore their talents and their ideas about who they want to be, and we are able to do that, and have done that, for the last 35 years in the Edgehill community
