Serving in time of Covid-19 is a challenge, as CorMA provides direct services. During the last quarter of 2020, the organization started two new programs from HUD (Por Mi Hogar II and Vereda del Río) to provide housing and supportive services to 24 homeless. At the end of the 2020, a total of 14 homeless slept on a new home and are receiving supportive services as food, case management, mental health support, clothes, home furniture and equipment and other services from CorMA.

The plans for the 2021 includes to provide housing and supportive services for a total of 10 more homeless and with the professional team, work in the stabilization plans for each one. In addition, CorMA will continue working with the other housing program (Por Mi Hogar I) that already has 10 individuals and two families in home.

CorMA has other supportive programs as the Colmadito de Jesús (grocery area to provide food to the people in crisis), the Bazar Rincón del Amor (to provide clean clothes to the homeless and it is also a sustainability program), and eSpacio de Mujer (that is an area to provide case management and with a shower for the homeless woman).

CorMA will continue serving the community and providing the resources to the personnel to have a heart plenty of God’s love and good thoughts to share with the participants. Thank you for all your support!

Blessings!
