Dr. Curtis Mortenson, the Medical Director of the Kodiak Island Clinic in Kodiak, Alaska, sits in front of the ABHMS Missionary School Building. That building is being used as a “well-baby visit” location. During the Covid Pandemic, it has been determined that an alternate location from the hospital is safer for the babies from a possible contamination standpoint. So they requested would it be possible to use our school building as that location. You can see the little plastic bubble where the initial contact with the doctor and patient is made. They have set up a small office just inside the building. This is another great way that Kodiak Baptist Mission and ABHMS are serving our community in this epic time.
