The Evergreen Baptist Association has announced an exciting series of initiatives to foster community growth and engagement. Rev. Morgan Fletcher will lead discussions on the highly anticipated Evergreen WellBEing Cohort, a pilot program designed to support personal and collective renewal. These initiatives mark an important step forward in Evergreen’s commitment to spiritual well-being and leadership development.

Lake Street Church of Evanston and Second Baptist Evanston proclaimed public sanctuary for immigrants fearing deportation action in a press conference on January 27, 2025. American Baptist Churches of Los Angeles, Southwest, and Hawaii

The American Baptist Churches of Los Angeles, Southwest, and Hawaii remind us that the needs of those impacted by the fires will be long-term. They covet our continued prayers, donations, and volunteering if they are able. Additionally, they shared thanks for the donations given and reminded us that we can still give via the ABCOFLASH Emergency Response Fund and One Great Hour of Sharing. 100% of all funds donated will go towards emergency or long-term relief for those impacted by the fires.

American Baptist Churches of New York State

On Sunday, February 10, 2025, Dr Katy Stenta was installed as pastor of Emmanuel Friedens. Clergy participating in the service laid hands upon her as this new season of ministry unfolds in Schenectady. A Presbyterian pastor by ordination, Stenta was supported also by Albany Presbytery in addition to the presence of UCC NYS and ABCNYS sister churches.
